MGT 305 Online
Critical Thinking and Ethics
Overview
This course is designed to develop skills needed for analyzing a problem or situation to arrive at a hypothesis or conclusion about it after synthesizing or integrating all available information. In critical thinking, all assumptions are open to question, divergent views are sought, and the investigation is not biased in favor of a particular solution.

Course Pace and Due Dates
Because this is a three-week online course, you're free to work at your own pace. All assignments you wish to be considered for a grade must be turned in to the Assignments section of Blackboard no later than 11 a.m. CST on July 2. No assignments beyond this date are accepted under any circumstances.
Assignment Quality
All assignments must meet quality standards that would be expected by corporate top-level managers. The professor reserves sole discretion in determining whether a completed assignment meets this standard. Assignments that do not meet this quality standard do not receive credit.
For those working toward an A, please note that there is no credit for papers that are less than 2,500 words. Papers must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document to receive credit.
Submitting Assignments
All assignments must be submitted using the "Assignments" feature in Blackboard. Click on "Assignments" then attach your assignment just as you would an email attachment.
Attach only one assignment per grading category. In other words, attach a single document containing all your answers to the chapter 1 - 8 questions for review and discussion, a second document for the chapter 1 - 8 case questions, and a third document for the ethical crisis paper.
Do not turn in assignments from individual chapters—turn in assignments only when they are fully complete and contain work from all 8 chapters (and your completed ethical crisis paper if you are aiming for an A).
There is no credit available for incomplete assignments or assignments turned in after the due date of 11 a.m. CST on January 23 under any circumstances.
